After School Day Camp / Vacation Day Camp

Program

After School Day Camp:
Pickups at Kumeyaay, Vista Grande and Tierrasanta Elementary Schools

From after school until 6:15pm (including Thursday minimum day)
Homework Help Monday – Thursday
Physical Education games, primary grade games, arts & crafts, drama, special events
Afternoon snack (please send a lunch on Thursdays unless schedule indicates otherwise)
FEE:

$65 per week for 1 child
$120 per week for 2 children

Vacation Day Camp:

7:00 am – 6:15 pm
Field trips twice weekly (click here to see our summer calendar)
Open during year-round and traditional school vacations
Open most school holidays and staff development days
Drop-ins welcome
Daily afternoon snack
Swimming, special events, educational presentations, crafts, drama, cook-outs and lots of fun!
Fee:

$140 per week for 1 child
$260 per week for 2 Children

Calendar:
The calendar will be posted at the end of each month for the following month. The summer calendar will be posted at the beginning of April.
The fee for full time participants is also posted on the calendar.

Helpful Tips and Information:
Welcome to Johnny B's Day Camp! We are looking forward to a fun and safe time with your child! We realize everyone has a busy schedule, so to help make camp as stress free as possible, here are a few helpful tips:

Read the activity schedule before bringing your child to camp, so he/she is prepared for the day (bathing suit, towel extra money, etc.)
Send your child in appropriate clothes. We are very active at camp and sandals, flip flops or open toe shoes are very dangerous. Please send your child in appropriate shoes for running and playing.
To prevent sunburn, please send your child with a hat he or she will wear. We will apply sunscreen twice daily to all campers. If you sunscreen your child before bringing him/her to camp, please give us a written note.
Please label your child's belongings that he/she brings to camp.
Our indoor facility is located at 11260 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. This is the Seventh Day Adventist church, which is just east of the Tierrasanta Recreation Center. Go to the far end of the parking lot and follow the sidewalk to the back building. We are upstairs in the first room on the left.
When we are at this location, there will be a large orange cone on the center island of Clairemont Mesa Blvd in front of the Tierrasanta Recreation Center.
Drop off time is between 7am – 9:30am. Please make sure your child arrives between these hours to accomodate leaving for field trips.
